Join Our Team – Inventory/Stock/Receiving Associate, Part-time

We are looking for a detail-oriented person to join our friendly, collaborative team at Wild Birds Unlimited of Fort Wayne.

We are Fort Wayne’s local backyard yard bird feeding resource, helping people enjoy the nature in their own backyard. Offering fresh, high-quality bird seed is a hallmark of our business and we’re looking for someone to take the lead in managing our inventory. Our team makes a difference!

We have an opening for an Inventory Associate to work 18-22 hours per week.

The role entails:
o Ability to lift and move 40lbs + easily and confidently throughout your shift
o Attention to detail, positive attitude and willingness to collaborate with our team
o Availability on Mondays and Fridays from 9:30am – 3pm + one other weekday
o Ability to operate a forklift is ideal, but not required
o Previous experience managing inventory a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person

Responsibilities include:
1) Receiving and moving multiple pallets of bird seed
2) Sorting and organizing large orders of product
3) Collaboration with General Manager and co-workers
